Silky Oaks Elopement Photography – Yen & Farouk

I had a great time photographing Yen & Farouk’s Silky Oaks elopement. I love Silky Oaks. In my opinion, it’s the best rainforest wedding location in the region. It use to host larger weddings but these days they cap it at around 20 people, so it’s always intimate.

Yen looked incredible with the light in her veil as she made her way down the stairs. As soon as he saw her, Farouk relaxed.  The connection was obvious and the whole vibe became much lighter. I knew we were going to get some great shots.

After the ceremony we went for a stroll along the riverside and made the most of the beautiful rainforest background. Yen was playful and had a gorgeous smile so everything was pretty easy. We then went for a drive.  Stopped for a few photo’s in the cane fields and then on to Newell Beach for the end of the day.

It was the perfect little wedding.  Enjoy.
